Assistants/Volunteer Managers The Presbytery of South
Louisiana’s Project Homecoming has several positions open for
construction assistants/volunteer managers for its rebuilding
and recovery initiative in the Greater New Orleans area. The
positions are for 11 months beginning Sept. 1, 2008 and ending
July 31, 2009. Delta Service Corps members are paid $11,400 and
also receive a $4,725 education award upon completion of the
11-month service year. The education award can be used to pay
off existing student loans or for future education costs. The
Presbytery of South Louisiana/Project Homecoming will add to
these benefits a housing supplement of $400/month for each Corps
member.
