Ecumenical Training Event on Catechumenate
The Office of Theology and Worship of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) invites you to attend an ecumenical training event for the ancient way of passing on the faith to new converts called the catechumenate. The North American Association for the Catechumenate is offering scholarships to seminarians who want to attend one of four regional events, but you’ll need to apply early. Love and All that Jazz - A Benefit Concert
Hope Academy of Music and the Arts presents "Love and All that Jazz," a benefit concert featuring Kelley Hunt and band. “Ashing” Big Questions
East Liberty Presbyterian Church (116 S. Highland Ave.) will host its Ash Wednesday Service Wed., Feb. 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the Session Room. The evening includes a Taize service and time for examining Lent. For what are you preparing? Where is the Lord in that? Did Jesus have to die? Come for an evening of sung prayer and big questions.

Drumming builds community and releases tension. Two-Day Workshop Features Bonnie Thurston
The Rev. Dr. Bonnie Thurston, PTS adjunct faculty, will present a two-day workshop at Bethany's Buffalo Seminary March 8-9. She will speak on Preaching Holy Week. Music in a Great Space, the concert series at Shadyside Presbyterian Church (5121 Westminster Pl.), welcomes organist Mark A.
