Host Families Needed

Host families are needed for Chinese students coming to study at private high schools in Pittsburgh. Great opportunity to extend Christian hospitality to non-Christians from China who will be leaving their family behind for one or more academic years to study in Pittsburgh.  Students require their own bedroom with standard amenities, meals at home, and transportation to activities. School busing most likely arranged by district or host family must provide. Generous monthly stipend provided to cover expenses. Family must pass background check, home inspection and complete an application. Current incoming students: one male returning to Eden Christian Academy for 10th grade, but needs new home near Mt. Nebo campus; one female starting 9th grade at Winchester Thurston's Shadyside campus; one male starting 9th grade as a five-day boarder at Shadyside Academy in Fox Chapel (He needs home for Fri. and Sat. nights and school holidays...family must pick up Fri. p.m. and return to campus Sun. p.m.)
